The president had his medical checkup at the Tokyo University Teaching Hospital in Tokyo. President Yadav was flown to Japan on June 17 for further diagnosis and treatment after a black spot had been detected in his large intestine during his heatlh checkup in a hospital in Kathmandu.
He was accompanied by a nine-member team, including his relatives, personal physicians and security personnel, among others. He was feared to have a cancer. The Tokyo hospital however cleared him of any such ailment.
