President urges PM for immediate consensus

KATHMANDU, Sept. 28: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has urged Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai to forge consensus among political parties at the earliest.



President Dr Yadav prodded the Prime Minister for consensus at a discussion on Friday evening.



Prime Minister Bhattarai reached the President´s residence at 6:00pm and discussed the current politics for nearly an hour.



According to Press Advisor to the President, Rajendra Dahal, the discussion was held on current political issues and ongoing efforts of the parties for consensus.



On the occasion, PM Bhattarai told the President that he was striving for political consensus which he hoped to achieve soon.



The meeting of PM Bhattarai with President Dr Yadav at a time they have at odds after the Office of the President put on hold the ordinances the government recommended has been taken meaningfully.
