KATHMANDU, Feb 28: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced a power outage in various parts of Kathmandu today. According to a notice, electricity will be disrupted in areas under the Maharajgunj Distribution Center, including Lazimpat, Panipokhari, and Baluwatar, which are served by the Lazimpat feeder.
The outage will occur from 10 AM to 3 PM today. The NEA stated that the power cut is necessary for testing and charging the underground transmission line in the area.

The NEA has mentioned that if the work is completed ahead of schedule, the power supply will resume before the planned time. The NEA also apologized for any inconvenience caused to customers.
