Earthquake tremors felt in Kathmandu

Tremors of a major earthquake were felt in large parts of Nepal including the capital city Kathmandu at around 2: 52 AM.

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: An earthquake measuring 6.1 magnitude jolted Nepal at 2:51 am on Friday.


The quake, reportedly with Listikot, Sindhupalchowk as its epicenter, shook most parts of eastern and central Nepal. Tremors of the earthquake were felt in the Kathmandu Valley.
