ROLPA, April 18: Constitutional expert Dr Bhimarjun Acharya has said the political parties should show willpower for constitution writing.

Speaking at an orientation programme on Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Act and Act on Enforced Disappearance here today, Dr Acharya said there was no possibily of the promulgation of constitution until the political parties gave up the party interests and created environment for political consensus.

He said the interference from external forces and agendas of federal states were the challenges in constitution writing.

Dr Acharya said the process at the Constituent Assembly (CA) was for the preliminary draft of the constitution. "There is no meaning of protest that the opposition parties are waging just because the ruling parties decided to go for the CA process. RSS
