KATHMANDU, April 3: Police on Sunday saved an American girl who tried to commit suicide by jumping off a building here in the capital.

US citizen Nicole Christian attempted suicide at around 6:45 am today by jumping off the fifth floor of the Thamel-based Hotel Tara.
Acting on a tip-off, police reached the hotel on time and prevented the possible suicide. Police said investion into the case was underway.
