Manipure, 40, from Manipur, India and currently living at Jalthal VDC-4 in Jhapa had murdered wife Revika Manipure, 26, four-month-old daughter Sunita and four-year- old Arun by attacking them with a sharp weapon yesterday.[break]
Sunita died on the spot while Revika had breathed her last in course of treatment at the hospital same day, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mohan Sharma.
SP Sharma added that Arun died this morning while undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based hospital.
Police nabbed accused Manipure from a house at Haldibari VDC-7 as he was hiding there.
It is learnt that Manipure used to have disputes with his spouse on the issues of returning to India.
