EC spokesperson Surya Prasad Sharma shared that the PM thanked the EC officials and others as a team led by Chief Election Commissioner Dr Ayodhee Prasad Yadav reached the PM's office earlier today.
On the occasion, the EC team briefed the Prime Minister about the preparations for the upcoming second phase of local poll slated for June 14. During the meeting, discussion was held regarding the first phase of local level election held on May 14.
Similarly, Dr Yadav expressed gratitude to the government for its cooperation to hold the election peacefully and gracefully. RSS
