KATHMANDU, July 15: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has reduced the prices of petroleum products, bringing relief to consumers.
Effective from midnight Tuesday, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 5 per litre, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have been lowered by Rs 1 per litre, the NOC said in a statement.

According to the press release, the adjustment follows the revised price list received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Nepal’s sole supplier of fuel.
The latest rates from IOC show a decrease of Rs 5.03 per litre in petrol and Rs 1.30 per litre in diesel, prompting the corporation to revise local prices accordingly.
