KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Voting for the chairperson of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Wednesday.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat on Monday released the election timetable, stating that proposals for the chairperson will be presented for decision at the committee meeting at 3 PM on Wednesday.

Nominations for the post will be registered Tuesday between 1 PM and 4 PM, with the final list of candidates published at 4:15 PM the same day.
According to the Secretariat, a committee member’s nomination must be supported by another member to be valid. The timetable also outlines that the proposer will present the nomination, a supporter will endorse it, and then it will be submitted for decision before voting.
