KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Nepali film ‘Paran’ has completed its seventh week of screening and began its eighth week on Friday, continuing to set records at the Nepali box office.
To mark the 51st day of the film’s success, the production team organized a charity event on Saturday at an orphanage in Tokha Chandeshwori, distributing warm clothes to children.

Directed by Deepak Acharya, the film has so far earned over Rs 17.55 crore, securing its place as the fourth highest-grossing Nepali film of all time.
With its current earnings, ‘Paran’ has surpassed the collections of ‘Chhakka Panja 4’ (Rs 17.53 crore) and ‘Jaari’ (Rs 17.48 crore). Only ‘12 Gaun’, ‘Kabaddi 4’, and ‘Purnabahadurko Sarangi’ have grossed higher in Nepal.
The film features veteran actors in key roles, including Neer Shah, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Pooja Chand, Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraili, Keki Adhikari, Prabin Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Yaseu Yonghang, Babin Rai, Pushparaj Ojha, Sima Kapfle, Daman Rupakheti, Yaman Shrestha, Subratraj Acharya, Suresh Thapa, Binod Rai, and child actor Aarya Deep Acharya.
