One dead, seven injured in Myagdi jeep mishap

MYAGDI, Nov 8: An individual died and seven others were injured after jeep heading to Beni of Myagdi from Jomsom met with an accident on Saturday evening.

The accident occurred after the jeep (Dha 1 Ja 9369) fell off the road in Badarjung cliff located on the border of Myagdi and Mustang districts along the Beni-Jomsom road section.

The District Police Office, Myagdi, said that the deceased is Rajendra KC, 26, of Beni Municipality-7 of the district.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Hira Giri said that two individuals are receiving treatment in Beni while five others were rushed to Pokhara last night. RSS
