Oli attends program to remove debris at Bungmati

LALITPUR, May 30: Chairman of the CPN-UML, KP Sharma Oli, attended a program to remove debris from devastated settlements of Bungmati in the district on Saturday.

The cleanup program was organized to prevent possible outbreak of diseases, said the volunteers from the UML party.


On the occasion, Chairman Oli said that thousands of volunteers from his party were deployed to help people during disaster.

The volunteers have been safely demolishing the partially damaged houses, removing debris and constructing temporary shelters to the quake suffered people, he added.

Chair Oli said the UML was supporting quake-affected people by rising above party interest.

Present on the occasion were Deputy General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, Raghuji Panta and thousands of volunteers. RSS
