KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs National Federation (NTENF) has condemned the latest price hike in petroleum products by the government.

Issuing a press statement on Thursday, the Federation has urged the government to withdraw the price hike at the earliest, saying that the decision has given the financial burden to transport entrepreneurs and general consumers.

The press release stated that the Federation will be compelled to increase the transport fare based on scientific system as per the government policy if the price hike in petroleum products was not withdrawn at the earliest.
