BIRATNAGAR, Dec 21: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said time is not right for him to step down right now because the country is reeling under various difficulties.
"The trade blockade, Tarai-Madhes protests and the rampant black-marketing have given us a lot of troubles already. Amid the crisis, it is not appropriate to raise question over the government and ask for its resignation," he said, while talking to reporters at Biratnagar Airport on Monday.

Stating that the government needs some time to sort out the current issues, Oli claimed that his government was committed to address the problems of people effectively. He also expressed his dissatisfaction toward the main opposition party, Nepali Congress, and requested them to show some flexibility for consensus.
PM Oli arrived in Itahari to attend his party's district-level meeting on Monday.
