KATHMANDU, March 9: The Nepali Women’s national team has started chasing the 76-run target set by Uganda with a calm and collected performance, scoring 38 runs having lost just one wicket in the first 10 overs of the second inning of the match.
After opener Samjhana Khadka was dismissed in a run out for eight runs in the third over, opener Sana Praveen and Puja Mahato stayed back at the crease, and completed a partnership of 21 runs. Praveen has scored the highest of 17 runs for Nepal.
Nepal bowling against Uganda

Uganda had set a target of 76 runs for Nepal in the ongoing Women's Day Cup T20I cricket tournament in Uganda. Uganda has scored 75 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Immaculate Nakisuuyi top-scored for Uganda with 22 runs. For Nepal, Puja Mahato took 3 wickets and Captain Indu Barma took 2 wickets.
Nepal has benched Rajmati Airee, Alisha Kumari Yadav and Rachana Kumari Chaudhary today and given a chance to Bindu Rawal, Mamta Chaudhary and Sana Praveen. This is Sana's debut match in the national team.
The ongoing series features the home team Uganda, Nepal, Namibia and Hong Kong. All the teams will face each other twice in the series. The top two will compete for the title.
