NC vote counting to continue till 6 pm for today

KATHMANDU, March 9: The Election Committee of the Nepali Congress (NC) has said that the counting of votes for 25 central committee members of the party under open category will be stopped at 6 pm for today.

The counting will start again from Thursday morning, according to the committee.

The vote counting was delayed on Wednesday after candidates demanded the process be shown to all through a projector, which has later addressed by the committee.

The counting is in full swing with a representatives of each candidates, observers, election committee members and seven scorers.

The committee decided that the ballot marking more than 25 candidates will be declared invalid.
