KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Nepali Congress (NC) has finalized eight agenda items for its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting being held for the first time after the Gen Z protests that toppled the KP Oli-led government.
The agenda was set during a joint meeting of party office bearers and members of the executive committee.
NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba addressed the meeting on Tuesday and handed over his responsibilities to Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, citing health reasons. The meeting did not formally enter agenda-wise discussions on the first day.
The agreement to finalize the agenda was reached during a meeting held Thursday morning. Earlier, a lack of consensus on the party’s General Convention had delayed finalization of the agenda.
