KATHMANDU, Dec 20: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Arjun Narasingh KC has announced that he will not be contesting the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election, citing his decision to step aside and give space to the new generation.

Speaking to Republica, KC clarified that his choice is a personal one, not influenced by the Gen Z movement or any political pressure. “This is my personal decision and view. The party has not directed me to contest or refrain from elections. In the previous election, I had already sought votes stating it would be my last. Accordingly, I will not participate in the upcoming House of Representatives election. However, I will remain active in all other political matters,” he said.
