NC just craving for power: Yadav

JANAKPURDHAM, Sept 25: Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav has said that attempt of the Nepali Congress (NC) to form a new government under its leadership without agreeing on fresh elections to the Constituent Assembly is against the five-point agreement.



Minister Yadav made this remark talking to media persons at Janakpur Airport on Tuesday. Minister Yadav who is also Acting Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Republican) is scheduled to take part in Dhaunusha district convention of the party.[break]



He said political parties have two alternatives, either to go for elections or reinstating the Constituent Assembly (CA) but the parties in recent days have agreed to go for the fresh election.



Minister Yadav who is also the spokesperson of the government said that the government was ready to go for elections by removing all constitutional hurdles. "But, some powers have feared to take part in the elections," he added.
