Meanwhile, the match turned tensed for some time after the match ended. Players exchanged blows while shaking hands with each other.

´The victory we achieved was due to the effort of players and management," said Bal Krishna Bhujel, the president of the club which was established five years back. "Now we will play for some years in B division than only try to get promotion to the A division. We know it is not easy to get promotion to A division."

Bhujel also recalled that his side had made it to the C division in 2064 BS defeating Khumaltar. According to Bhujel, the club started playing football in the name of Nayabasti Shaksham Nagar Youth Club after the unification of Nayabasti and Shaksham Nagar Tol Sudhar Samittee.

Shaksham Nagar was active in football since 2064 BS. Following the unification, Sribahadur Yogi, then president of Nayabasti took the responsibility of coach and Bhujel of club management. According to Bhujel, the club spent nearly Rs 450,000 playing C division football.

Khumaltar´s coach Pradip Maharjan, also the former Nepali international termed the result unfortunate despite high standard of performance in the group stage. "We lost in tiebreaker despite putting a good show. We missed nearly four chances in one-on-one situation during the game," Maharjan said.

Meanwhile, Charumati Youth Club was relegated from C division following 4-1 defeat at the hands of Khalibari Youth Club. Om Gurung completed hat-trick for the winning team in a one sided match and Priyas Tamang added another. Kailash Rai hit the consolation for Charumati.
