KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Health and Population Minister Padam Giri has said that people-oriented and quality healthcare delivery is his main goal and objective.
He said this while addressing the anniversary ceremony of Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital on Tuesday. He said that the main goal and resolution is how to provide quality healthcare services to all 30 million Nepali people.
An urgent plea to protect healthcare providers
Minister Giri also said that he wants to develop a strong health system by making the health systems agile, correct and ending the distortions in the health sector. He said that the ministry is ready to do the necessary work to make the health service more effective.
He says that it is his responsibility to prove that Nepal's health sector is the most reliable, quality and excellent.
Minister Giri said that his first task is to make the health sector people-oriented, accountable and quality-oriented, so that all people have access to health services.
