The major three parties have decided to come up with a common stance of the UDMF demands after holding inter-party parleys.The next meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow after the three parties put forth their common stance on our 11-point demands, Tarai Madhesi Sadbhawana Party Vice-chairman Ram Naresh Rae informed after the meeting held at prime minister's office in Singhadurbar today.
The major three parties had sought the UDMF's help to endorse the amendment proposal of the new constitution after some revisions tabled by the main opposition Nepali Congress party earlier.
However, UDMF insisted on assisting on endorsing bill related to reconstruction authority only.
"The Morcha (UDMF) has expressesed its support to import medicines and let schools run," Rae added, "However, the government has not been able to come up with common stance on our 11-point demands. Our flexibility is not reciprocating well from the govenment."
The major three parties have agreed to come up with common stance on the UDMF demands after inter-party parleys and sit for talks on Friday.
The meeting today was attended by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and Mahanta Thakur, Upendra Yadav from the UDMF.
