LAHAN, June 2: The monitoring and evaluation of the ongoing road construction projects in different Siraha, Saptari and Udayapur districts has been affected due to lack of sufficient number of engineers and sub-engineers in the Road Division Office, Lahan.

Currently, an engineer and two sub-engineers are working in the Office despite the post of six engineers and 15 sub-engineers.

The Office is assigned to oversee the road construction standards in Siraha, Saptari and Udayapur districts but monitoring of the road projects is severely affected due to limited human resources, Chief Engineer at the Office Anuthalal Prasad Patel said.

"We are facing problems for monitoring and evaluation of the road projects as we lack required number of officials to carry out the job effectively," he said. RSS
