PAANCHTHAR, Jan 1: A middle-aged man was killed in an attack with a burning firewood at Nangin of Paanchthar last night.
The deceased has been identified as Dalamu Sherpa, 64, of Bhote Gaun of Nangin – 8. Aakash Sherpa, 18, attacked Dalamu on the head with the burning firewood after a minor dispute last night.
Sherpa, who sustained serious injuries in the attack, died in course of treatment at his own house, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Nakul Pokharel, of District Police Office, Paanchthar. The police have arrested Aakash for further investigation. RSS
