PALPA, Nov 27: Menu Saru, 62, of Ribdikot Rural Municipality-8 died after her son, Krishna Bahadur Saru, 43, hit her with firewood.

According to Rameshwar Twati, information officer at the District Police Office, Palpa, Krishna Bahadur was drunk when he attacked his mother. Twati said that Saru has been arrested and necessary action will be taken against him.
