PM Oli calls 1950 treaty ‘humiliating’ stresses friendship and development



Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli expressed his commitment to work for national interests and priorities by respecting Nepal’s sovereignty with its neighbors based on mutual respect. During his debriefing session at the federal parliament, Oli said that he along with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi had dwelt on numerous issues that prioritized Nepal’s development as per its needs.


Over 21,000 people disappeared from across country in past 12 years

More than 21,000 people including children had disappeared from across the country in the past 12 years, according to data from the Children Search Coordination Center (CSCC). A total of 1,608 children had gone missing from around the country in eight months alone in the current fiscal year. 


Banda causes partial affect, IED found in several districts


A nation-wide banda called by Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal has partially affected life across the country. To spreading the terrorism Bomb and an improvised explosive device (IED) have found in various districts as Chitwan, Jhapa, Palpa, Tanahun, Pokhara, Rasuwa and Kailali. 


Five killed, more than 25 injured in Pyuthan bus mishap


The bus driver, Bir Bahadur Tharu from Kailali, was one of the five killed in a bus accident that injured 25 others. The bus (Na 4 Kha 1876) was en route to Khalanga, Pyuthan from Mahendranagar when it veered 200 meters off the road at Pakuri Khola-4 of Saruma Rani rural municipality.

Suicide bombers hit Indonesian churches: 11 dead, 41 hurt


Suicide bombers on motorcycles and including a woman with children targeted Sunday Mass congregations in three churches in Indonesia's second-largest city, killing at least 11 people and wounding dozens in one of the worst attacks on the country's Christian minority, police said.
