ITAHARI, June 16: A man died after being attacked with a khukuri during an attempted goat theft in Sunsari’s Ramdhuni Municipality.
According to the Pakali Area Police Office, 42-year-old Rakesh Chaudhary of Ramdhuni-4 was fatally injured around 2:30 AM on Monday while allegedly trying to steal a goat from the home of Santosh Chaudhary in Ward 2.

Rakesh sustained injuries to his right arm and died during treatment at Sai Hospital in Jhumka, police said.
