JHAPA, Dec 22: A 65-year-old man died after falling from a cliff in Arjundhara Municipality of Jhapa district, police said.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khagendra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as Yam Bahadur Lal Magar, a resident of Arjundhara Municipality–2, Lapchetar. He had left home around 7 pm on Sunday, saying he was heading to his old house.

When he failed to return, a search was launched. He was later found dead after falling from an estimated 70-foot cliff inside the Shanti Community Forest in the same area.
DSP Khadka said a police team from the Area Police Office, Anarmani, was deployed to the incident site after receiving information on Monday. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
