Major parties' meeting ends inconclusively

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: A meeting of  top leaders of UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC), CPN UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) ended inconclusively on Thursday.



The leaders have decided to continue talks on Friday too.The meeting was expected to resolves differences among the ruling and opposition parties on fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) elections and budget, among other issues. [break]



UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, senior leader Madhav Nepal, NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel and Deputy Prime Minister and coordinator of UDMF Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar were present in meeting held in the house of Krishnaraj Maharjan, a UML leader, in Balkumari.
