Major five parties meeting today

KATHMANDU, Jan 20: Five political parties including main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) are meeting at Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday to discuss Indian blockade, Madhesh unrest and parliament’s meeting.

Top leaders of NC, CPN-UML, UCPN (Maoist), Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) and Madhesi People’s Rights Forum-Democratic (MPRF-D) are holding meet, according to Chetan Adhikari, Press Coordinator to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The parties are expected to come up with a common stance on demands of the agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).
