Luitel appointed Nagarik’s editor

KATHMANDU, May 26: Journalist Guna Raj Luitel has been appointed as editor of Nagarik daily, Nepali language newspaper of Nepal Republic Media (NRM), on Tuesday.

Earlier, he had served as editor-in-chief of Annapurna Post daily and commentator at setopati.com.


Luitel, who was assistant editor of Nagarik daily during establishment, also worked as resident editor of Nagarik Paschimeli, western region supplement of the newspaper.

He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Ateneo de Manila University of Philippines and is also a journalism fellow of the Singapore-based Nanyang Technological University.

NRM has thanked earlier editor-in-chief Prateek Pradhan for his two-year term.
