KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Protesting the declaration of Kochila province in eastern Nepal, Joint Limbuwan Front obstructed the highway for three hours on Tuesday.

The ethnic fronts affiliated to various political parties including the UCPN (Maoist) called the strike.

The ethnic groups have claimed that Kochila, which comprises Sunsari, Morang and Jhapa district in the Maoist federal map, also falls in the Limbuwan province.
