KATHMANDU, Dec 22: Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), who is in the custody of Kaski District Police Office, has been taken to the Kaski District Court.
The District Government Attorney Office, Kaski, presented him before the court to register a charge-sheet against him for cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering. Currently, the security arrangements have been tightened in the Kaski District Court area.

The District Government Attorney Office is going to file a charge-sheet against 32 people including Lamichhane for cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering.
Chabilal Joshi, who was arrested on September 22, has been in custody for 90 days. Lamichhane has been in police custody since October 18.
The four-day detention period extended against Lamichhane expired on Friday midnight. On Friday, in the same case, a supplementary charge sheet was filed in the district court against 19 people including Gitendra Babu Rai aka GB Rai.
According to Kamala Kafle, head of the District Government Attorney Office, Kaski, last year only the case was registered for the crime of cooperative fraud, and on Friday, the charge sheet was registered against them by adding the organized crime. Earlier, only 19 people including GB Rai were prosecuted for cooperative fraud.
