Minister Gupta said the ministry has already initiated talks with the Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai to amend the act.

He further added that a provision requiring judges to disclose their property details should also be added.

Gupta also claimed that the ministry could eradicate the corruption in the courts if given a complete support by the Judicial Council.

He also said that the courts have corrupt judges. "If I am forced to reveal the names of the corrupt judges, I will do so," he added.
