Int'l workshop on 'Art for Nature' kicks off

CHITWAN, Dec 7: An international workshop on 'Art for Nature' has begun at Sauraha in Chitwan district with an objective of supporting conservation of nature and wild life.

In the workshop, the artists participating in the seminar would present the nature and wildlife they saw in course of jungle and boat safari through their arts. The formal inauguration of the event would be held today at National Trust for Nature Conservation, Sauraha.The week-long workshop is organised by The Art Club with support from the Relief Fund for Wildlife Victims, World Wildlife Fund and National Trust for Nature Conservation, said Administrative Officer at the Trust, Ram Kumar Aryal.

More than 35 artists from different countries including Nepal, USA, Australia, UK, Germany and India are participating in the workshop. RSS
