26-year-old Sandip Burma of Bardawaha, Maharagunj of South province, India was attacked along Barahawa-Barampur route. Burma was ferrying fuel on his motorcycle and was on his way to Parasi.Burma sustained hand injuries in the attack and succeeded in fleeing the scene to his home village.
However, this incident has not been verified by the police.
"We heard about the incident. Howeveer, we have not been able to verify it yet. We are investigating," District Police Office DSP Arjun Ranabhat said.
Police recovered underground Madhesi Mukti Tigers (Rajan Group)'s pamphlets from the site.
