ILAM, Sept 27: Senior leader of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Ashok Rai, has said that environment conducive for talks has not been created as the three major political parties have not listened to the agitating parties.

At a news conference organized by the Federal press Forum, Ilam, Sunday morning, he expressed the view that all the existing problems would be settled if past agreements signed are implemented, rightful compensation is provided to the families of those killed in Madhes agitation, free treatment to the injured as well as army is withdrawn from riot-hit areas.

"Launching agitation is our compulsion, not wish. The three parties have solution of the problems with themselves."

Expressing the view that the new constitution promulgated through the Constituent Assembly (CA) was not acceptable, he said the new statute could not give an outlet as it was against the spirit of the Interim Constitution.

Responding to a query, leader Rai said that they have blocked the border check points by changing the form of the agitation, and noted that India was supporting them, which was welcoming. RSS
