RAUTAHAT, Feb 4: Malangwa Customs Office has resumed operation since three days. Following relaxation in protest, businessmen have started importing goods from India which has resulted in increased activities at the border point.

Chief Thirtha Raj Paswan said the office collected Rs 600,000 revenue in the past three days.

Meanwhile, Gaur-Bairganiya entry point has also resumed. Transportation has come to operation after cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) lifted obstruction at the checkpoint.

Similarly, businessmen have started importing goods from India on carts through Birgunj border point. Although UDMF cadres have continued sit-in, they are not obstructing import of goods through carts.
