The grade 12 exam is set to begin from June 3 while that of grade 11 will start from June 16. The board had earlier decided to begin exam from May 15, which has been rescheduled twice following the earthquake.
Issuing a statement, HSEB's exam controller office has stated that the exam centers were relocated after technical teams of the government found several of the earlier assigned centers at the risk of collapse in the valley.
Some of the higher secondary schools from where exam centers have been moved include Bright Future, Milestone, Bal Binod, Nepal Children, Caribbean, Little Angels'.
Likewise, the board has also changed three exam centers in Bara and Rasuwa districts after buildings housing them received severe damages in the major aftershock of May 12 measuring 7.3 magnitude.
Around 900,000 students are to appear in the higher secondary exams with a total of 50,000 students from Gorkha, Dhading, Nuwakot, Kavre, Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha and Rasuwa, the districts severely affected by the earthquake.
