However, judging comes to all of us naturally and most often, we judge a person by their looks, clothes and what they are wearing in terms of jewelry, watches or shoes.[break]
So, how often do you judge a person? We asked if shoes and watches really do make a difference.
Nick Shq shares on our Facebook page that a watch doesn’t necessarily determine the personality of a person but shoes and the way he dresses definitely does.
Sakin Maharjan opines, “You can’t judge a book by looking at its cover, and keeping that in mind, it’s funny to judge a person by the accessories he’s wearing. I never judge anyone on the basis of the watch or shoes he wears because a person wearing expensive shoes can be rich but not necessarily a nice person. I think personality is what really makes a person and not the clothes, shoes or watches he wears. I, for one, never judge a person by her appearance.”
Moin Uddin, on the other hand, believes that what we choose to wear reflects our personality and who we are. He says, “If a person’s wearing sports shoes, then we can assume that the person is more casual. And if a person’s wearing formal shoes, we can assume that he’s is a professional.”
Agreeing to what Uddin says, Nirmal Kurtyel says that whatever a person dons is what he’s comfortable in, be it a watch, shoes or clothes.
“What we wear reflects on our character,” he adds.
True that people are judged on the basis of what they wear, especially if you don’t know the person. But judging on the basis of what’s worn and shown, like watches and other forms of jewelry, might not be the right thing to do. What we wear can be from an expensive branded store or from the local street market. But the quality can, in no way, define the intelligence of a person.
