Govt to implement Bam murder probe committee recommendations

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Government has decided to forward recommendations made by committee which has been probing murder of Supreme Court Justice Rana Bahadur Bam to respective ministries for implementation.



The cabinet meeting on Thursday evening also appointed Lieutenant General Nepal Bhusan Chand as acting Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) in absence of CoAS Gaurav Shumsher Rana. Rana is leaving abroad on Monday.[break]



Similarly, the government has approved resignation submitted by Pashupati Gautam, managing director of Agricultural Input Company Limited, and appointed Sashi Raj Tuladhar as an acting managing director.



The meeting also endorsed the promotion of Shyam Kumar Bhattarai and Rewati Raj Tripathi of the Judicial Service, public prosecutor´s group to post of gazetted first class.



Likewise, the structure of 28 districts of the Ministry of Health and Population has been approved.
