KATHMANDU, March 9: Gold and silver prices slid in the local market today, with gold dropping Rs 4,300 per tola and silver falling Rs 150 per tola.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) said standard gold is now priced at Rs 294,700 per tola, while silver stands at Rs 4,875 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Wednesday, gold and silver traded at Rs 299,000 and Rs 5,025 per tola, respectively, and on Tuesday, they were Rs 291,800 and Rs 4,820 per tola, the FENEGOSIDA reported.
Globally, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,713, while silver is at USD 73, according to international market reports.
