KATHMANDU, June 8: Gold prices declined in the domestic market on Monday, the second trading day of the week, while silver recorded a slight increase.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold fell by Rs 900 per tola compared to Sunday.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
Fine gold is being traded at Rs 299,900 per tola on Monday, down from Rs 300,800 per tola on Sunday.
Meanwhile, silver posted a marginal gain of Rs 10 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,895 per tola on Sunday, rose to Rs 4,905 per tola on Monday, the federation said.
