Gold price surges again, crosses Rs 300,000 per tola

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, gold, which was trading at Rs 291,000 per tola previously, climbed to Rs 300,500 today.

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Gold prices in the local market rose sharply on the first day of the week.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, gold, which was trading at Rs 291,000 per tola previously, climbed to Rs 300,500 today.

The price of gold increased by Rs 9,500 per tola.


Silver prices also rose today. The federation said silver is being traded at Rs 5,010 per tola, up from Rs 4,038 previously—an increase of Rs 972.
