KATHMANDU, Feb 25: The price of gold in the domestic market reached an all-time high on Tuesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold has reached Rs 171,300 per tola today, marking an increase of Rs 500 per tola. The price of fine gold was Rs 170,800 per tola on Monday. Before this, its had reached as high as Rs 171,000 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 15 per tola on Tuesday. The price of silver, which was rated at Rs 1,985 per tola on Monday, fell to Rs 1,970 on Tuesday.
