KATHMANDU, March 28: The price of gold has set a new record in the domestic market on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the gold, which was being traded at Rs 174,800 per tola the previous day, has now reached Rs 176,200 per tola. Compared to the previous day, the price increased by Rs 1,400 per tola on Friday

This is the highest price recorded so far. The previous highest price of Rs 176,000 per tola was recorded on March 20.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 20 per tola. While the price of silver was Rs 2,020 per tola the previous day, it has now risen to Rs 2,040 per tola.
