Gold price goes down

KATHMANDU, July 7: Price of gold came down to Rs. 48,600 per tola today.According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers´ Association (NEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold decreased by Rs. 750 per tola today as compared to Friday. It was traded at Rs. 49,350 per tola on Friday. [break]

Similarly, price of worked gold reached Rs. 48,350 per tola today while it was Rs. 49,100 on Friday.NEGOSIDA has fixed the price of silver at Rs. 800 per tola today. It was Rs. 815 on Friday.

Chairman of NEGOSIDA, Mani Ratna Shakya, said that price of yellow metal and silver has decreased in Nepali market due to impact of international market.
