A key point in the demand letter urges the state to ensure protection for those who participated in the protests held on September 8 and 9. “Not to prosecute the Gen Z participants and ensure safety against attacks by possible government bodies and political parties,” reads the letter.
They have also demanded investigation and prosecution of assets of public office bearers with a proposal to nationalize any illegitimately acquired property. Additionally, the Gen Z team has emphasized the need for reforms in the bureaucracy, calling for measures to hold civil servants accountable to the people.
