The deceased have been identified as Bishnu Tharu, 17, Santosh Thaur, 19, Niraj Tharu, 19 and Arun Tharu 14 of Dhadhabar-7 of the district.
The incident occurred when the bus was heading to groom’s home from Dhahdabar Aurijutta to Saipur of Babai Municipality of the district.
A total of 30 people were travelling on the bus when the accident took place.

According to DSP Netramani Giri, the injured are being treated to Kohalpur-based Teaching Hospital.
The bride and groom, however, are safe as they were travelling on a separate vehicle.
